Our Pygmy goats, Billy, Milly and Cher have moved out YIPPEE…..

I’m a little sad to see them go, but i wont miss the smell of Billy. It was difficult as sometimes we are away for a few days and although we have someone who feeds the animals while we are away, the goats have been getting out with the moat being dry.
The B Brothers (one of our neighbours) was getting sick of them eating their flowers.

We delivered them to their new home yesterday, Marion, a English woman who lives about 15mins from us as them, she as all kinds of animals and a couple of big fields for them to run around in.
Its great to be able to leave the front door of the castle open while I’m working, in the past if i did that i would soon smell that tell tale smell that Billy was near.

So now its just the three cats and Wilmer the pot bellied pig. I’m trying to talk Rachael in to 100 chickens, but thats another story!

Well, not much done on the castle this week as ive had internet work to do, I had plastered one of the walls in the bathroom, but the plaster that i used that we thought was a 2 hrs drying time, set in 15mins so it was a rush but i got it done, then the other day Rachael (who is fluent French) came in and Read the plaster sack, turns out its not plaster, its plasterboard Glue! so thats why it set in 15mins, anyway it dried OK : ), then I plastered one of the bigger walls the other day, with plaster this time, much easier : )
